Who We Are
Thanking you for your interest and dedication in supporting the Shiprock community. Our community has a richness in culture and history that requires preservation, continued growth, and expan-
sion. We are excited about getting to know you better and talking with you about the Board’s projects and needs.
The Board of Shiprock Community Development Corporation (SCDC) focuses on improving economic development, community revitalization projects, and affordable housing for the community. The Board focuses on governance issues, strategic planning, financial oversight, organizational assessment, and fund development.
The purpose of the Shiprock Community Development Corporation (SCDC) is to help renew the well-being and prosperity of the Shiprock community by honoring the richness of its culture and history through collective actions.
The goals of the Corporation is to develop strong relationships to sustain an economically, environmentally, and culturally healthy community.
